The Peninsula Spay/Neuter Fund is dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of homeless animals by:
- encouraging owners to spay or neuter their pets
- providing financial assistance to owners WHO CANNOT AFFORD IT ON THEIR OWN
The reality is, right here on the Peninsula, many dogs and cats, kittens and puppies, will never find a home.
*It is recommended to spay or neuter your pet as early as possible. Most veterinarians recommend that a female be spayed before her first estrus or "heat"
period which usually occurs around 6 months of age.*
